Back from knee injury Stanley (knee) had three points (1-5 FG, 1-2 FT) and eight rebounds across 14 minutes in Friday's 100-59 exhibition victory over Ferris State. Impact Stanley's 2020-21 season with Xavier was cut short after just four games, as the Hampton transfer suffered a torn ACL during Big East play in early-January. His recovery appears to be complete given his presence in a low-stakes exhibition matchup, so the 6-6 senior could be called upon for minutes early on given the team's various frontcourt injuries. He saw the second-most rebounds in the exhibition, and while it wasn't a great shooting day, Stanley won't be called upon as the primary scorer. He did put up 22.0 points and 7.2 rebounds during the 2019--20 season with Hampton, though this is a much deeper, high-major roster.
