Plays 20 minutes in blowout Morris logged 12 points (4-8 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, one assist and one steal over 20 minutes during Saturday's 94-60 victory over West Virginia.

Impact Morris played more than 11 minutes for the first time since Dec. 31, and he's now averaged 9.6 minutes per game over 12 games during this span. This was also his first time scoring in double figures since late December, so it's likely he'll continue to see extremely limited off the bench for Texas moving forward.

10 points off bench Thursday Morris closed with 10 points (5-11 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 0-2 FT), five rebounds, three assists and one steal in 22 minutes during Thursday's 82-31 win over Houston Christian.

Impact Morris saw increased playing time during his second collegiate outing after logging 16 minutes against UTEP on Monday. The 6-foot-3 freshman was one of the top point guard recruits in his class, and he could continue to play a prominent role in the Longhorns' backcourt behind established starters Tyrese Hunter and Marcus Carr. Morris will face a much bigger test when Texas takes on Gonzaga next Wednesday.

Game-high 19 points in exhibition Morris had a game-high 19 points (6-9 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 3-7 FT), three assists and two rebounds in an exhibition game against Arkansas on Saturday.

Impact Morris was one of the top PG recruits in the country and he certainly showed why in this exhibition game against good competition. Morris came off the bench in this contest and that's a role he should continue to roll with throughout the season. Tyrese Hunter and Marcus Carr are both starters in the backcourt and can play the PG position. We'll see how coach Chris Beard elects to play these three talented point guards throughout the season.
