Jayden Quaintance - Leads team to win Quaintance contributed 18 points (8-11 FG, 2-4 3Pt), seven rebounds, two assists, one block and two steals over 26 minutes during Sunday's 66-54 victory over Kansas State.
Impact Quaintance led the way during Arizona State's win, scoring 18 points on 8-of-11 shooting including going a season-best 2-for-4 from beyond the arc after having converted on just four of his first 28 shots from long range this season. The standout freshman added seven boards, two steals and a block after missing the second half of the last game when he aggravated an ankle injury that had cost him the previous two games. Quaintance is averaging 10.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 1.1 steals and 2.1 blocks across 15 conference games and will be relied on even more moving forward following the dismissal of the Sun Devils' leading scorer BJ Freeman.
