Impact Platek was healthy before the Saints began their newest season Nov. 7 at Holy Cross. He scored 13, six of which were logged using three-pointers. The senior has five treys across his 10 attempted. Fantasy managers should expect Platek's output to be maximized now that the Saints do not have Colby Rogers (transfer) or Anthony Gaines (graduate) as a top-three scorer and rostered like they were one season ago.

Will miss rest of season Platek suffered a full thickness tear of the Achilles tendon in his left leg and will miss the rest of the season.

Impact Platek had missed the last two games while they examined the nature of the Achilles injury, and unfortunately it is not good news. The senior will be out for a minimum of four months after surgery. It's unclear if Platek will return to Sienna in 2022-23.

Impact The former UNC guard is set to make his first start with Siena after transferring earlier this year. He logged 24 minutes in his season debut on Nov. 19 against Georgetown and posted 12 points (5-15 FG, 2-7 3Pt), five assists and three rebounds across 24 minutes off the bench.

Transfers to Siena Platek has transferred to Siena, according to Grant Hughes of 247Sports.com.

Impact Platek didn't get to make as much of an impact with North Carolina as he probably wanted to, but he is now expected to gain a bigger role at Siena. He averaged 3.7 points, 1.7 rebounds and 0.9 assists per game with the Tar Heels last season. His eligibility is a bit uncertain, however, as he switched schools after the transfer deadline and it's unclear if he completed his degree at UNC. He may ultimately need a waiver unless he's determined to be a graduate transfer, but the NCAA has fortunately been pretty liberal about handing those out this season.
