Makes return off bench vs. UMass
Steen (groin) recorded two points (2-2 FT), two rebounds and one assist across eight minutes during Saturday's 103-95 loss to Massachusetts.
Impact
Steen made his return to the court after a one-game absence, but he was eased into play off the bench. The 6-foot-9 senior could be primed for more minutes this upcoming Tuesday, as he'll have more time to fully work back from his groin injury. Without including this eight-minute outing, Steen has averaged 8.5 points and 7.1 rebounds per game across eight starts this season.

Dealing with groin injury
Head coach Luke Loucks revealed that Steen (groin) was held out of Saturday's matchup against Houston due to a groin injury, per Austin Veazey of SI.com.
Impact
Saturday marked Steen's first missed game of the season, and it appears he's dealing with a groin injury, though the extent of the issue is currently unknown. The 6-foot-9 forward has been an impact player for the Seminoles this season, averaging 8.5 points and 7.1 rebounds per game across eight contests. He will hope to get back to 100 percent when UMass comes to town on Saturday.

Goes for double-double
Steen closed with 13 points (5-8 FG, 3-4 FT), 10 rebounds and two blocks across 19 minutes during Tuesday's 89-59 victory over Bakersfield.
Impact
The Seminoles didn't have major problems Tuesday in a 30-point victory over a lesser opponent. Steen was one of four FSU players who scored in double digits in the win, and it's fair to say this was his best outing of the season. He set a new season-high mark in rebounds while also matching his previous season-high output in both points and blocks.

Efficient in win over UT Martin
Steen provided 13 points (6-9 FG, 1-3 FT), seven rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal in 22 minutes during Tuesday's 87-73 victory over UT Martin.
Impact
Steen was one of five players who scored in double digits for FSU in this victory. However, the senior big man did more than just score and also made his presence felt on the glass and as a rim protector. Steen has scored at least eight points while grabbing at least six rebounds in each of his four showings this season. He should remain as FSU's main rim protector as long as he stays healthy.
