Impact Donald Hand (18 points, 11 rebounds) and Fred Oayne (17 points, four assists) stole the show for the Eagles in this win, but Shaw made his presence felt on the glass. The 14 boards were a season-high output for the senior forward, who has grabbed at least eight rebounds in every game so far. Through four appearances this season, Shaw is averaging 4.8 points and 9.5 rebounds per game.

Lands with Boston College Shaw has announced his commitment to Boston College ahead of the 2025-26 season.

Impact Shaw will make the move to Boston College after spending the last three seasons with Missouri. The 6-foot-9 junior struggled to find a consistent role with the Tigers with his largest utilization coming in the 2023-24 season, during which he posted 3.6 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.1 blocks on 16 minutes per game (32 outings). Shaw will look to take on a larger role with the Eagles next fall.

Impact Since starting a pair of games Jan. 21 and 24 for the Tigers, Shaw has seen his minutes decrease to single digits in back-to-back contests. His absence Saturday was apparently matchup related, as head coach Dennis Gates wanted to use Kobe Brown at power forward, which mean more minutes for Mohamed Diarra at center (as well as a few for Mabor Majak). Diarra's return appears to be eating into Shaw's minutes significantly, and the 6-8 freshman was already a player on the fringes of fantasy relevance.
