Goaltender Connor Ingram says he is retiring from hockey at age 29

Connor Ingram, the goaltender who shared his battle with an undiagnosed obsessive-compulsive disorder that led him to drink to cope with anxiety and won the Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy for perseverance and dedication to hockey in 2024, says he is retiring at age 29.

"Don’t be sad it’s over," Ingram posted on Instagram on Friday. “Be happy it happened. Thanks hockey, I owe ya.”

Agent Jason Davidson confirmed Ingram's retirement.

Ingram played parts of five NHL seasons with Nashville, Arizona/Utah and Edmonton since making his debut in 2021.
