Johnson's 18 help Tennessee Tech beat Midway 82-70
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Rodney Johnson Jr. had 18 points in Tennessee Tech's 82-70 victory over Midway on Thursday night.
Johnson added six rebounds and five assists for the Golden Eagles (1-3). Daniel Egbuniwe added 16 points while shooting 6 of 9 from the field and 3 for 4 from the line, and he also had nine rebounds, five assists, and six blocks. Josiah Davis shot 5 of 8 from the field and 4 for 7 from the line to finish with 14 points, while adding 11 rebounds and six assists.
Jalen Cincore finished with 21 points, nine rebounds and three steals for the Eagles. Midway also got 17 points and two steals from David Woodard. In addition, Donnie Miller had 10 points and two steals.
