Zegarowski scores 16, Stonehill takes down C. Connecticut

SOUTH EASTON, Mass. (AP) — Max Zegarowski scored 16 points as Stonehill beat Cent. Conn. St. 51-49 on Saturday.

Zegarowski also contributed seven rebounds for the Skyhawks (7-11). Isaiah Burnett added 10 points while going 2 of 7 from the floor, including 2 for 6 from distance, and 4 for 4 from the line Andrew Sims shot 4 of 11 from the field and 2 for 4 from the line to finish with 10 points.

Kellen Amos led the way for the Blue Devils (4-14) with 16 points and two steals. Abdul Momoh added nine points and two steals for Central Connecticut. Andre Snoddy also put up eight points and eight rebounds.

NEXT UP

Both teams play on Saturday. Stonehill hosts Merrimack while Cent. Conn. St. hosts Fairleigh Dickinson.
