Stubblefield scores 14 as Omaha knocks off Mid-America Christian 76-59

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Grant Stubblefield's 14 points helped Omaha defeat Mid-America Christian 76-59 on Wednesday night.

Stubblefield added five rebounds for the Mavericks (3-4). Marquel Sutton scored 13 points and added nine rebounds. Frankie Fidler shot 2 for 7 and 7 of 10 from the free throw line to finish with 12 points.

The Evangels were led in scoring by Eddie Smith, who finished with 15 points and five steals. Mikel Henderson added 14 points for Mid-America Christian. In addition, Jasiah Lewis had nine points and two steals.
