Stormo's 24 lead Siena over Rider 68-63
ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — Jackson Stormo scored 24 points as Siena beat Rider 68-63 on Sunday.
Stormo was 9-of-13 shooting and 6 of 7 from the free throw line for the Saints (11-5, 5-0 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference). Michael Baer added 10 points while shooting 3 for 5 (2 for 4 from 3-point range) and 2 of 3 from the free throw line, and he also had six rebounds. Andrew Platek was 3-of-9 shooting, including 1 for 6 from distance, and went 2 for 5 from the line to finish with nine points. The Saints extended their winning streak to six games.
The Broncs (6-9, 3-3) were led by Dwight Murray Jr., who posted 20 points and two steals. Tariq Ingraham added 12 points for Rider. Mervin James also had nine points and 15 rebounds.
