BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. (AP) — DaQuan Smith had 24 points in Radford's 90-74 victory against Gardner-Webb on Thursday night.
Smith was 8-of-12 shooting, including 4 for 7 from 3-point range, and went 4 for 4 from the line for the Highlanders (14-14, 4-9 Big South Conference). Kenyon Giles scored 17 points, shooting 7 for 17, including 1 for 4 from beyond the arc. Justin Archer and Josiah Harris each scored 12 points. The Highlanders snapped a five-game losing streak.
Julien Soumaoro and DQ Nicholas scored 15 points apiece for the Runnin' Bulldogs (13-15, 8-5). Lucas Stieber had 12 points.
