Simmons and Dibba score 23 to lead Abilene Christian past UT Arlington 78-67

ABILENE, Texas (AP) — Airion Simmons and Ali Abdou Dibba had 23 points each in Abilene Christian's 78-67 win against UT Arlington on Saturday night.
Simmons had 12 rebounds for the Wildcats (7-11, 2-5 Western Athletic Conference). Dibba scored 23 shot 6 for 13 (1 for 3 from 3-point range) and 10 of 11 from the free throw line. Hunter Jack Madden had 18 points and was 6 of 11 shooting (4 for 6 from 3-point range).
Makaih Williams led the way for the Mavericks (9-10, 4-4) with 17 points and two steals. DaJuan Gordon added 13 points, 11 rebounds and four steals for UT Arlington. In addition, Shemar Wilson had 11 points and 12 rebounds.
