ITHACA, N.Y. (AP) — Cooper Noard had 17 points in Cornell's 91-87 victory against Monmouth on Wednesday night.
Noard was 5 of 5 shooting, including 4 for 4 from 3-point range, and went 3 for 4 from the line for the Big Red (6-1). Nazir Williams scored 15 points and added five rebounds. Isaiah Gray had 14 points and was 6 of 7 shooting and 2 of 4 from the free throw line.
The Hawks (4-4) were led by Xander Rice, who posted 27 points and six assists. Jaret Valencia added 19 points, six rebounds and two steals for Monmouth. In addition, Abdi Bashir Jr. finished with 12 points.
