Locure has 20 in UL Monroe's 80-73 win against Old Dominion

NORFOLK, Va. (AP) — Tyreke Locure scored 20 points as UL Monroe beat Old Dominion 80-73 on Saturday night.

Locure had five rebounds for the Warhawks (5-12, 1-6 Sun Belt Conference). Tyreese Watson scored 16 points, shooting 6 for 10, including 2 for 3 from beyond the arc. Makai Willis was 4-of-11 shooting and 6 of 8 from the free-throw line to finish with 14 points, while adding 12 rebounds. The Warhawks stopped a nine-game slide with the victory.

Chaunce Jenkins led the way for the Monarchs (5-14, 1-7) with 20 points. Old Dominion also got 17 points from Vasean Allette. R.J. Blakney also had 13 points and two steals.
