Lathon scores 27 as Morehead State downs Midway 94-53

MOREHEAD, Ky. (AP) — Jordan Lathon had 27 points in Morehead State's 94-53 victory over Midway on Wednesday night.

Lathon shot 10 for 16 (6 for 10 from 3-point range) and 1 of 3 from the free throw line for the Eagles (4-3). Riley Minix added 15 points while shooting 6 for 16, including 3 for 5 from beyond the arc, and he also had 12 rebounds. Eddie Ricks III was 5 of 8 shooting (3 for 5 from 3-point range) to finish with 14 points.

The Eagles were led in scoring by Tim Fuller, who finished with 13 points. Tobias Thompson added nine points for Midway. Jalen Cincore also had seven points.
