Ford's 23 help Southern Utah beat Abilene Christian 82-67

ABILENE, Texas (AP) — Dominique Ford scored 23 points as Southern Utah beat Abilene Christian 82-67 on Saturday night.

Ford also had five rebounds for the Thunderbirds (8-12, 3-6 Western Athletic Conference). Braden Housley scored 18 points, going 7 of 12 (2 for 3 from 3-point range). Zion Young had 17 points and shot 6 of 11 from the field and 5 for 8 from the foul line.

Leonardo Bettiol led the way for the Wildcats (8-12, 3-6) with 14 points, 10 rebounds and two steals. Airion Simmons added 14 points and eight rebounds for Abilene Christian. Ali Abdou Dibba also had 12 points and three steals.
