Campbell scores 17 as Samford takes down UNC Greensboro 78-69
GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) — Jaden Campbell scored 17 points as Samford beat UNC Greensboro 78-69 on Thursday night.
Campbell shot 5 for 5 (4 for 4 from 3-point range) and 3 of 4 from the free throw line for the Bulldogs (21-3, 10-1 Southern Conference). Achor Achor scored 16 points and added seven rebounds. Jermaine Marshall shot 5 for 7 (3 for 4 from 3-point range) and 3 of 4 from the free throw line to finish with 16 points.
The Spartans (17-7, 8-3) were led in scoring by Keyshaun Langley, who finished with 19 points. Mikeal Brown-Jones added 15 points and 11 rebounds for UNC Greensboro. In addition, Kobe Langley had 10 points, six assists and four steals.
