Baptiste scores 12 in Boston University's 70-49 victory over Sacred Heart
FAIRFIELD, Conn. (AP) — Matai Baptiste's 12 points helped Boston University defeat Sacred Heart 70-49 on Saturday.
Baptiste shot 5 for 9, including 1 for 3 from beyond the arc for the Terriers (3-5,). Otto Landrum shot 2 of 7 from the field and 5 for 5 from the line to add nine points. Ethan Okwuosa had nine points and was 2 of 8 shooting, including 1 for 4 from 3-point range, and went 4 for 4 from the line.
Nico Galette finished with 13 points, six rebounds and three steals for the Pioneers (4-5). Aidan Carpenter added 12 points and two blocks for Sacred Heart. Alex Sobel also had 10 points, six rebounds and two blocks.
