Back to bench Wednesday Pouye is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Valkyries, Zulfi Sheikh of Sportsnet reports.

Impact With Julie Allemand returning from a one-game absence with an ankle injury, Pouye is reverting back to her usual role off the bench. Temi Fagbenle (eye), Brittney Sykes (foot) and Kiki Rice (ankle) are all sidelined, so Pouye still has a chance to play a sizable role Wednesday.

Impact Pouye was making the start in place of the injured Julie Allemand (ankle), but the guard struggled mightily with her shot. The good news is that she was one of four starters to hit at least one successful three-pointer, but with her struggling with her shot, she was unable to pick up the pace in another area. If she gets another start, only fantasy managers in deeper leagues need to pay her any mind.

If the Tempo remain shorthanded in the backcourt -- with Marina Mabrey (neck), Brittney Sykes (foot) and Kiki Rice (ankle) all dealing with injuries -- Pouye could continue to see increased opportunities off the bench.

Impact Although Pouye wasn't particularly efficient from the floor Thursday, she had a solid performance from the charity stripe en route to a season-best scoring total. She's played double-digit minutes in three of her last six appearances, averaging 3.0 points and 1.5 assists in 10.2 minutes per game during that time.

Impact Pouye was seeing an increase in playing time with Julie Allemand leaving due to a head injury, and Brittney Sykes exiting early after suffering a non-contact injury. Pouye and Kia Nurse could each be in line for a much larger role if Allemand and/or Sykes are forced to the bench due to their ailments.
