Austin ended up with 13 points (6-12 FG, 1-4 FT), five rebounds and four assists across 28 minutes in Tuesday's 75-66 loss against the Liberty.
Impact
Austin ended up starting 30 of her 38 games for the Mystics, and he average points per game (12.6) increased for the third consecutive season. She has averaged at least 6.4 rebounds per game in all four of her WNBA campaigns, and she a career-best 1.2 blocks per game in 2025, too. Austin can be a good source of points, rebounds, steals and blocks again next season if he remains in a starting role.

Shoots poorly in loss to New York
Austin racked up seven points (3-11 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five rebounds, two assists and one block in 22 minutes during Thursday's 89-63 loss to the Liberty.
Impact
Austin was coming off a career-high 30-point performance in the loss to Seattle on Sunday. However, she was unable to repeat those numbers and had a subpar shooting display. The lack of consistency has been an issue for Austin of late, In six games since returning from a three-game absence due to a leg injury, Austin has scored more than 15 points just once while averaging 14.5 points per game on 50 percent shooting from the floor.

Struggles with shot Thursday
Austin racked up six points (3-9 FG), five rebounds, one block and one steal in 20 minutes during Thursday's 67-56 loss to the Sun.
Impact
The Mystics had a woeful offensive performance and only notched 56 total points in this defeat against one of the worst teams in the league. Austin tried to carry the offense, but she had significant efficiency issues, leading to her first single-digit scoring output since Aug. 5. She's averaging 11.3 field goal attempts per game since the beginning of the month, though, so she should have a good floor to bounce back when facing the Aces on Saturday.
