Impact Carter had been outside the rotation for each of Phoenix's past seven games, so her presence Monday is worth noting. Even so, the recent signing of Alexa Held might make it difficult for Carter to handle a steady reserve role in the backcourt.

Impact Carter played 12 minutes off the bench during Saturday's blowout win over Las Vegas but wasn't used as much during the second half of the back-to-back set. Carter earned an Opening Night roster spot following a solid preseason, but she hasn't seen enough playing time over the first two games of the regular season to generate much fantasy production.

Impact Carter was one of four Mercury players to score in double digits during Saturday's exhibition game, and her 19 minutes were second most on the team behind Kiana Williams (23). Carter signed a training camp deal with Phoenix on April 12, and she is looking to crack a spot on the roster for the regular season after playing overseas in the Greek A1 for Panathlitikos SF Sykeon last year.
