Posts strong double-double
Nelson-Ododa tallied 16 points (5-11 FG, 6-6 FT), 11 rebounds, one assist, four steals and three blocks in 25 minutes during Thursday's 94-88 loss to the Sky.
Impact
Nelson-Ododa supplied the Sun with plenty of production on both ends of the court, but it wasn't quite enough to secure the victory. She led Connecticut in rebounds, steals and blocks, and she recorded her second double-double over her last four appearances. Nelson-Ododa has now started 12 straight games and isn't going anywhere as long as she continues this strong stretch of play.

Another quality start Friday
Nelson-Ododa finished with 12 points (6-12 FG, 0-1 FT), nine rebounds, three assists, two steals and three blocks across 30 minutes in Friday's 68-57 victory over the Mystics.
Impact
Making her second straight start, Nelson-Ododa had another quality showing, finishing only one rebound shy of her second double-double of the year. She also had a season-high three blocks to help the Sun extend their winning streak to two games. It appears head coach Rachid Meziane will continue to reward Nelson-Ododa for her recent play, so some more appearances as a starter could be on the horizon. In five regular-season starts in 2026, the 25-year-old is averaging 12.2 points, 10.2 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.4 blocks over 26.9 minutes.
