Impact Conde's stint in the starting lineup comes to an end after she filled in for the short-handed Tempo frontcourt over the last two contests. The 29-year-old forward struggled mightily with her efficiency as a starter, totaling just five points while shooting 2-for-15 (13.3 percent) from the field across those two outings. With Toronto's frontcourt rotation getting healthier, Conde will transition back to a reserve role Saturday, where she will look to recapture the offensive rhythm she showed off the bench earlier this month.

Impact Conde was making her first career WNBA start, but she had some difficulty with her shot. The rebounding total was nice, however, and she ended up plus-1 for the game. If Nyara Sabally (neck) and Isabelle Harrison (hand) continue to miss time, Conde could remain in the starting lineup.

Impact Conde scored two points in the 68-65 loss to the Mystics to open the 2026 campaign. However, she was much more potent on the offensive end Wednesday by amassing 16 points off the bench. The 29-year-old suffered a torn Achilles in January 2025. While the team may be mindful of Conde's minutes moving ahead, she may see more action or potentially move into the starting lineup if she strings together a few more strong performances.

Impact Conde missed all preseason action while tending to an overseas commitment but is available for the regular-season opener. The forward was selected by Toronto in the first round of the 2026 WNBA Expansion Draft after missing the entire 2025 WNBA season due to an Achilles injury suffered in EuroLeague play. If she sees action Friday, it will mark Conde's WNBA debut despite originally being drafted by Chicago back in 2019.

Impact Conde underwent successful surgery after sustaining an Achilles injury while playing for USK Prague of the EuroLeague on Jan. 8 of 2025, so it will be interesting to see how her health is ahead of training camp. Conde has yet to make her WNBA debut since being drafted by the Sky in 2019.
