Unable to take advantage of chance Westbeld finished Wednesday's 86-49 loss to the Dream with two points (1-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt), seven rebounds, one assist and two blocks across 25 minutes.

Impact Westbeld was seeing a much larger role with both Ariel Atkins (leg) and Angel Reese (leg) sidelined, but she was horrific from the field, hitting just 12.5 percent. That wasn't much worse than the rest of the team, however, as it was just 25.4 percent (18-of-71) in the 37-point rout on its home floor. Westbeld did salvage the day somewhat with the high number of rebounds and two blocks, however.

Impact Westbeld, who made her eighth appearance of the season, pulled down a season-high six rebounds in the loss. She's played a minimal role as a rookie, but there is a path to more minutes if she continues to impress.

Impact Similar to Hailey Van Lith, Westbeld has been a fringe rotation player for the Sky. In seven total appearances, Westbeld has played 6.3 minutes per night with 1.7 points, 1.0 rebounds and 0.4 assists on 28.6 percent shooting from the field.

Impact Westbeld missed a good chunk of her final season at Notre Dame with an injury, but she's done enough throughout her collegiate career to prove she belongs in the WNBA, averaging 14.4 points, 8.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.1 blocks a year ago. Her strong shooting ability should translate nicely to the next level as she'll presumably slot in as a role player with her new squad.
