GAME LOG

Won't return this season Geiselsoder (personal) won't return this season, according to Sean Highkin of RoseGardenReport.com.
Impact Geiselsoder will represent Germany at the 2026 FIBA Women's World Cup, and since she's been out of the rotation for a while, she's leaving early for preparation and won't return this season. She ends the season with averages of 4.5 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.3 assists across 16.6 minutes per game in 21 appearances (nine starts).
AUGUST 8 • ROTOWIRE
Contract temporarily suspended Geiselsoder's contract was temporarily suspended by the Fire on Saturday.
Impact Geiselsoder heads overseas, where she will suit up for the German National Team during the 2026 FIBA Women's World Cup. She's averaging 4.5 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.3 assists across 16.6 minutes per game in 21 appearances (nine starts) in 2026. With Geiselsoder away from the team, Serah Williams will probably log more minutes behind Megan DiLeo at center.
AUGUST 8 • ROTOWIRE
Stuck in backup role Geiselsoder closed with zero points (0-1 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and two rebounds across three minutes during Tuesday's 98-83 loss to the Aces.
Impact Fantasy relevance has been hard to come by for Geisolsoder, who has watched Megan DiLeo run away with Portland's starting center gig. Geisolsoder last scored more than three points June 15 in Minnesota, appearing in just five of the Fire's last 12 games.
JULY 29 • ROTOWIRE
Tallies three points in loss Geiselsoder racked up three points (1-3 FG, 1-2 3Pt) and one rebound over six minutes during Thursday's 88-80 loss to the Aces.
Impact Geiselsoder didn't appear in any of Portland's last three games, but she saw some work off the bench Thursday. The 26-year-old had a starting role over the first nine games of the regular season, but she's seen her opportunities decrease in recent weeks and hasn't been a consistent part of the rotation since mid-June.
JULY 10 • ROTOWIRE
Contributes in multiple areas Geiselsoder produced two points (1-4 FG, 0-1 3Pt), three rebounds, two assists and two blocks across 14 minutes during Wednesday's 101-78 loss to the Sky.
Impact Geiselsoder came off the bench once again Wednesday, but she matched her season-high mark in blocks during the lopsided matchup. She's played 15 or fewer minutes in each of her last five appearances, averaging 5.6 points and 2.8 rebounds in 14.0 minutes per game during that time.
JUNE 25 • ROTOWIRE
Fares well off bench Geiselsoder had nine points (3-5 FG, 3-4 3Pt), four rebounds and one steal over 15 minutes during Monday's 107-74 loss to the Lynx.
Impact Despite a decent workload of 18.6 minutes per contest, Geiselsoder's fantasy appeal remains pretty low. She's shooting 35.2 percent from the field and averaging 5.5 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.5 assists per contest.
JUNE 16 • ROTOWIRE
Muted results as reserve Geiselsoder finished with four points (2-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt), four rebounds and one block across 15 minutes during Sunday's 89-72 loss to the Sparks.
Impact Geisolsoder has lost out on her spot at Portland's top center to Megan Gustafson, coming off the bench in four consecutive games. Geiselsoder has averaged just 3.0 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 13.9 minutes per tilt in her last four games, shooting just 30.8 percent from the field during that span.
JUNE 8 • ROTOWIRE
Heading to bench Geiselsoder won't start Saturday's game against the Fever, Sean Highkin of RoseGardenReport.com reports.
Impact Megan Gustafson will get the starting nod in the second leg of this back-to-back, pushing Geiselsoder to the bench for the first time this season. The second-year center has averaged 5.0 points, 2.4 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 0.8 steals in 21.0 minutes per showing over her last five outings.
MAY 30 • ROTOWIRE
Sees 19 minutes in win Geiselsoder ended with three points (1-4 FG, 1-3 3Pt), one rebound, two assists and two steals across 19 minutes during Wednesday's 71-61 win over the Sun.
Impact Playing in her second WNBA season, Geiselsoder has played a modest role for the Fire thus far. Through eight appearances, she's averaging 6.0 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 22.4 minutes per contest. She's shooting just 31.5 percent from the field, however.
MAY 28 • ROTOWIRE
Seeing consistent minutes Geiselsoder closed with two points (1-5 FG, 0-2 3Pt), two rebounds and four assists in 25 minutes during Monday's 83-82 victory over Connecticut.
Impact The second-year center handed out a season-high four dimes Monday to help offset a season-low two points. Geiselsoder has averaged 7.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 0.8 blocks in 24.3 minutes per contest through four games this season, playing at least 22 minutes in each outing.

Gathers seven rebounds in opener Geiselsoder ended Saturday's 98-83 loss to Chicago with eight points (2-10 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 3-3 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and two blocks in 25 minutes.
Impact Geiselsoder misfired on eight of her 10 field-goal attempts, but she more than made up for it with a team-best seven rebounds, while she was one of just two Portland players to record multiple blocks. As long as she continues in a starting role in Portland, Geiselsoder should easily exceed the 6.9 rpg, 4.8 rpg and 1.6 apg she provided in 28 games with the Dallas Wings in her WNBA rookie season of 2025.
MAY 10 • ROTOWIRE
Leading scorer in defeat Geiselsoder recorded 15 points (3-5 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 7-8 FT), an assist and a steal in 21 minutes during Wednesday's 91-81 preseason loss to the Storm.
Impact Although Geiselsoder's volume from the floor wasn't particularly high, she was efficient on her shot attempts and also had plenty of field-goal attempts en route to the highest scoring total in the Fire's preseason opener. Geiselsoder averaged 6.9 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 22.4 minutes per game across 28 regular-season appearances (24 starts) with Dallas during her first WNBA campaign last year, and she should have an opportunity to take on a leading role in Portland's frontcourt in 2026 after the team selected her in the first round of this year's expansion draft.
APRIL 30 • ROTOWIRE
Signs with Fire Geiselsoder signed with the Fire on Monday.
Impact Portland extended a qualifying offer to Geiselsoder on April 7 and quickly secured her signature. In 2025, Geiselsoder averaged 7.2 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.6 blocks in 23.5 minutes per game for Dallas.
APRIL 13 • ROTOWIRE
Receives qualifying offer The Fire extended a reserved qualifying offer to Geiselsoder on Tuesday.
Impact Portland now has the exclusive negotiation rights on Geiselsoder, whom they took in the first round of the 2026 WNBA Expansion Draft. At 25 years old, Geiselsoder made her WNBA debut in 2025 for an injury-depleted Dallas squad, starting 24 of 28 regular-season appearances. As a starter, she averaged 7.2 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.6 blocks in 23.5 minutes per game.

Portland Fire and Toronto Tempo lay their foundations in the WNBA expansion draft

Portland, which is welcoming a WNBA team back in the city after 24 years, selected veteran forward Bridget Carleton with the first pick in the league’s expansion draft on Friday
APRIL 3 • Associated Press
Joining Portland Geiselsoder was selected in the first round by the Fire in the 2026 WNBA Expansion Draft on Friday, Annie Costabile of Front Office Sports reports.
Impact At 25 years old, Geiselsoder made her WNBA debut in 2025 for an injury-depleted Dallas squad, starting 24 of 28 appearances. As a starter, she averaged 7.2 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.4 stocks in 23.5 minutes per game. Given she was the Fire's third pick, Geiselsoder should be the starting center in Portland's inaugural season, making her an intriguing pick during fantasy drafts.

Out for final three games Geiselsoder (shoulder) will miss the final three games of the regular season for Dallas, Grant Afseth reports.
Impact The Wings don't have much to play for and will take the cautious approach here. In response to this news, the Wings will be signing Ajae Petty and Serena Sundell. Geiselsoder's season concludes with averages of 6.9 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.6 assists across 28 appearances.
SEPTEMBER 2, 2025 • ROTOWIRE

Impact Geiselsoder will miss her second consecutive game after sustaining a right shoulder injury in Wednesday's loss to the Sun.
