Back in starting role Burke is in the starting lineup for Thursday's game against the Sparks.

Impact Burke returns to the first unit after a series of impressive displays off the bench. She's coming off an 11-point effort in the loss to the Dream on June 29, and she has scored in double digits in each of her previous three outings. Burke is averaging 6.7 points, 4.0 boards and 2.0 assists per game in her three starts this season.

Records 11 points in loss Burke contributed 11 points (4-10 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 2-3 FT), one assist and three steals in 23 minutes during Sunday's 90-81 loss to the Dream.

Impact Burke reached double figures for the third game in a row and continues to make a strong impact off the bench. Through 16 games, she's seeing 22.1 minutes per night with 9.4 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.0 steals while shooting 50.5 percent from the field and 49.2 percent from beyond the arc.

Scores season-high 20 points Burke notched 20 points (6-14 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five rebounds, one assist and one steal over 30 minutes during Wednesday's 81-78 win over the Valkyries.

Impact Burke has seen most of her minutes coming off the bench this season, but she made her presence felt in a big way Wednesday after delivering her best scoring mark of the campaign. This was the first time Burke scored in double digits since June 10, and the sixth time she's done it all season long. Her bench role limits her upside, but she's worth a gamble given her usage and minutes. Burke is averaging 9.3 points and 3.1 boards across 21.9 minutes per game in June.

With Jonquel Jones (ankle) out for multiple weeks and Leonie Fiebich's contract temporarily suspended, Burke should continue to take on an expanded role even if she continues to work from the bench.

Back to bench role Burke is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against Seattle.

Impact Burke got the start in Thursday's loss to the Mercury but posted six points, two rebounds, an assist and a steal across 22 minutes. The forward will return to her regular bench role this season since Rebekah Gardner and Marine Johannes will be part of the first unit in this contest against the Storm.

Limited impact in starting role Burke ended with six points (2-3 FG, 2-2 3Pt), two rebounds, one assist and one steal across 22 minutes during Thursday's 89-81 loss to the Mercury.

Impact Burke made her third start of the season Thursday, but as has been the trend in recent weeks, she has struggled as a reliable scoring weapon regardless of whether she plays in the first unit or off the bench. Burke, who has played more than 25 minutes just twice in 2025, has limited fantasy upside both due to her role but also due to her scoring limitations.

Impact Burke will start her third game ahead of Nyara Sabally, who will come off the bench for the first time since May 22. On the season, the 28-year-old is averaging 8.5 points and 2.9 rebounds across 21.3 minutes per night in 11 appearances.

Very effective off bench Burke chipped in 15 points (6-8 FG, 3-3 3Pt), three rebounds, two assists and two steals across 22 minutes during Tuesday's 85-66 win over the Sky.

Impact Burke missed only two field-goal tries, and she was perfect on her three shots from distance. She apparently enjoys facing the Sky, as she is averaging 16.0 points per game in two appearances against Chicago this season, while going for 8.2 points per game in seven outings against all other teams.

Productive in spot start Burke contributed 11 points (3-5 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, two assists and one block across 28 minutes during Thursday's 82-77 victory over the Valkyries.

Impact Burke got the starting nod Thursday in place of Jonquel Jones (hamstring) and delivered a solid showing, stuffing the stat sheet and ending just three boards away from a double-double. Burke's upside for future games will be strictly tied to Jones' availability. Still, if the star center is unable to feature Friday in the second leg of a back-to-back set, Burke could very well remain in a starting role when the Liberty take on the Mystics.

Getting starting nod Burke is in the starting five for Thursday's game versus the Valkyries, Geoff Magliocchetti of Winsidr reports.

Impact Burke will replace Jonquel Jones (hamstring) in the starting five Thursday. Burke has logged at least 20 minutes in each of her last three appearances, so she should continue to receive an increased role against Golden State.

Impact Burke provided a spark off the bench in Thursday's blowout win, matching the game high in steals and tying the team-best mark in triples. The 28-year-old forward has already matched her season total of double-digit scoring outings from the 2024 campaign (two) through two games, and she'll likely continue to offer a valuable lift from the second unit due to Betnijah Laney-Hamilton (knee) being sidelined for the season. Additionally, Burke's 17 points are her most in a game since Aug. 25, 2020 (17 points), when she played for the Fever.

Impact After scoring in double figures only twice in 2024, Burke reached that plateau in the 2025 regular-season opener. With Betnijah Laney-Hamilton (knee) out for the season, Burke could see a few more minutes per game this season.

Getting starting nod Burke is in the starting five for Friday's preseason game against the Sun, Alford Corriette of Her Hoop Stats reports.

Impact Burke made just three starts across her 38 regular-season appearances in 2024. However, the absence of Breanna Stewart (knee) and Leonie Fiebich (not with team) for Friday's preseason outing opened up a starting spot for Burke.
