Has efficient game off bench
Salaun totaled 21 points (7-10 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT), three rebounds, two assists and one steal over 26 minutes during Sunday's 95-79 win over the Mercury.
Impact
Salaun has fired out of the chute through the first two games, going for at least 20 points in each outing. It's quite an impressive start, as she had at least 20 points just three times in her rookie season of 2025, and never in consecutive outings. Salaun appears poised to take a big step forward in scoring, even off the bench.

Impact
Salaun fired out of the chute, accounting for five of her team's 15 successful three-pointers. The five triples tied a career high, as Salaun also had five made threes in a game in Seattle on Sept. 9, 2025 during her rookie season. She ended up leading the team in scoring Friday despite coming off the bench for 27 minutes.

Fulfills overseas commitment
Salaun was back at training camp with the Valkyries on Friday following an overseas commitment, per Kenzo Fukuda of ClutchPoints.com.
Impact
Salaun's activity levels are unclear, but it's encouraging to see her back with Golden State. There's no indication she won't be ramped up in time for the May 8 regular-season opener in Seattle.

Multi-year deal with Golden State
Salaun and the Valkyries agreed to terms on a multi-year contract Sunday, Matthew Walter of The Next Hoops reports.
Impact
The terms of the deal have yet to be announced, but it ensures that Salaun will be part of the Valkyries' organization for years to come. She was named to the WNBA All-Rookie Team last year, averaging 11.3 points, 5.1 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.8 threes over 27.0 minutes per game. Salaun figures to start alongside Gabby Williams and Iliana Rupert in Golden State's frontcourt.

Qualifying offer extended
The Valkyries extended a reserved qualifying offer to Salaun on Tuesday, Khristina Williams of MSG Network reports.
Impact
This was a no-brainer decision for Golden State after Salaun averaged 11.3 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 27.0 minutes while starting 33 of her 36 regular-season appearances as a rookie. She was one of only two players on the team who averaged at least 11 points per game and made more than 26 appearances for the Valkyries during their inaugural season, which ended in a surprise playoff berth. Her 5.1 boards a night also led the team.

Rookie provides 14 points in Game 2
Salaun ended with 14 points (4-7 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 4-5 FT), four rebounds and one assist in 34 minutes during Wednesday's 75-74 loss to the Lynx.
Impact
Salaun showed no fear in her first-career playoff series, averaging 13.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.5 three-pointers per game in the two-game series loss to the Lynx. The 24-year-old rookie has a bright future, and she should be a huge part of the offensive plan heading into 2026 in Year No. 2 in San Francisco.

Team-high six rebounds in loss
Salaun ended with 13 points (5-11 FG, 3-7 3Pt), six rebounds and one steal in 35 minutes during Sunday's 101-72 Game 1 loss to the Lynx.
Impact
The six boards were a team-high output by Salaun, who's now collected at least six rebounds in five consecutive appearances dating back to the regular season. Salaun has also posted double-digit scoring figures while drilling multiple three-pointers in seven of her last eight outings, and she'll continue to play a prominent role with Kayla Thornton (knee) out of the fold.

Can't get going in blowout loss
Salaun posted five points (1-12 FG, 0-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists and one steal across 30 minutes during Thursday's 72-53 loss to the Lynx.
Impact
Salaun posted one of her worst shooting performances in recent memory during Golden State's regular-season finale. Even so, she managed to snag double-digit rebounds for just the second time this season. Salaun and the Valkyries will now set their sights on taking on Minnesota during the first found of the postseason, which proves to be a tall task.

Struggles with shot Saturday
Salaun recorded 15 points (5-14 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, two assists and a steal across 34 minutes in Saturday's 78-72 loss to Minnesota.
Impact
Salaun ended just two rebounds shy of what would've been her double-double of the season. Despite the shooting woes, Salaun remains one of the most consistent scoring weapons for the Valkyries. She has reached the 15-point mark in four of her last seven contests.
