Signs with Seattle Melbourne signed a one-year, $500,000 contract with the Storm on Sunday, Alexa Philippou of ESPN.com reports.

Impact Melbourne was a third-round pick by Seattle in 2022, and she'll return to the organization following two years with the Mystics. The 23-year-old played exclusively off the bench during her first two WNBA seasons but started in 12 of her 43 regular-season appearances in 2025 and averaged 5.9 points, 2.9 assists and 1.9 rebounds in 23.4 minutes per game. The Storm will have several new faces in 2026 after losing Skylar Diggins, Brittney Sykes and Nneka Ogwumike -- among others -- so Melbourne should have the opportunity to compete for a relatively sizable role in the rotation.
