Returns to training camp Rupert was back at training camp with the Valkyries on Friday following an overseas commitment, per Kenzo Fukuda of ClutchPoints.com.
Impact After playing internationally this preseason, Rupert has rejoined Golden State for training camp. It's not known if she's a full practice participant, but all signs point toward Rupert being ready to roll for the May 8 regular-season opener in Seattle.
4 DAYS AGO • ROTOWIRE
Still away from team Rupert is not with the team and did not play in Saturday's 78-76 preseason win over the Storm.
Impact Rupert is still not with the team after playing for Fenerbahce Spor Kulubu in Turkey. Her next opportunity to play for the Valkyries will come in their regular-season opener against the Storm on May 8.
APRIL 26 • ROTOWIRE
Re-signs with Valkyries The Valkyries re-signed Rupert to a multi-year contract Sunday, Matthew Walter of The Next Hoops reports.
Impact As expected, Rupert will return to Golden State after being extended a reserved qualifying offer. After a year off from the WNBA, Rupert returned in 2025. She started 11 of her 21 regular-season appearances, averaging 9.3 points, 3.9 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.2 stocks in 23.1 minutes per game.
APRIL 12 • ROTOWIRE
Extended qualifying offer The Valkyries extended a reserved qualifying offer to Rupert on Tuesday.
Impact After a year off from the WNBA, Rupert returned in 2025 and started 11 of 21 games during Golden State's inaugural season, averaging 9.3 points, 3.9 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.2 stocks in 23.1 minutes a night. The Valkyries could be busy in free agency, but as things stand, Rupert should have a major role in the rotation to begin 2026.
APRIL 7 • ROTOWIRE
Error-prone in elimination game Rupert registered eight points (3-5 FG, 2-4 3Pt), two rebounds, five assists and one block across 32 minutes during Wednesday's Game 2 75-74 loss to Minnesota.
Impact Rupert moved into the starting lineup for Game 2, and she did a decent job shooting, especially from distance. Rupert was very good seeing the floor, and dishing out assists. She was in and out of the starting five for the Valkyries. At just 24 years old, Rupert could be a valuable part of the rotation heading in the 2026 campaign.
SEPTEMBER 18, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Startin Wednesday Rupert is part of the starting lineup for Wednesday's Game 2 against Minnesota.
Impact Rupert came off the bench in Game 1, snapping a streak of nine consecutive starts to finish the regular season. She'll return to the first unit for Game 2, replacing Temi Fagbenle. Rupert was held scoreless across 17 minutes in the series opener.
SEPTEMBER 18, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Retreating to bench Sunday Rupert won't start in Sunday's Game 1 against the Lynx, Marisa Ingemi of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Impact With Cecilia Zandalasini returning to the starting five in the team's postseason opener, Rupert will slide to the bench. The 24-year-old center started her last nine regular-season appearances, averaging 10.6 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.1 blocks while shooting 44.2 percent from beyond the arc in 27.9 minutes per game during that span.
SEPTEMBER 14, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Off injury report for Sunday Rupert (undisclosed) isn't listed on the Valkyries' injury report for Sunday's Game 1 against the Lynx, Nathan Canilao of the Bay Area News Group reports.
Impact Rupert limped to the locker room in the fourth quarter of Thursday's loss to the Lynx in the club's regular-season finale and didn't return. However, she'll return for the opening game of the postseason. Rupert started her final nine regular-season appearances, averaging 10.6 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.1 blocks across 27.9 minutes per game during that span.

Lynx beat the Valkyries 72-53 to set a franchise record with 34 regular-season wins

Natisha Hiedeman scored 21 points, Napheesa Collier had 19 and the Minnesota Lynx beat the Golden State Valkyries 72-53 to set a franchise record with 34 wins
SEPTEMBER 12, 2025 • Associated Press
Fails to return Thursday Rupert (undisclosed) didn't return to Thursday's 72-53 loss to the Lynx. She finished the night with eight points (3-7 FG, 2-6 3Pt), eight rebounds, one assist, one steal and one b...
Impact Rupert exited with 7:22 remaining in the fourth quarter after hitting the floor hard, and it wasn't a shock to see that she was held out the rest of the way. She turned in a solid effort prior to going down, collecting at least one steal and one block for a second straight appearance. Rupert's status will be worth keeping an eye on leading up to Sunday's Game 1, also against Minnesota.
SEPTEMBER 12, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Limps to locker room Rupert went to the locker room during the fourth quarter of Thursday's game against the Lynx due to an undisclosed injury, Kenzo Fukuda of Clutch Points reports.
Impact Rupert took a hard fall near the end of Thursday's matchup and will evaluated further back in the locker room. It's unlikely she'll return given a comfortable lead by the Lynx and Game 1 of the playoffs looming Sunday.
SEPTEMBER 12, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Subpar effort Tuesday Rupert closed Tuesday's 74-73 loss to the Storm with six points (2-6 FG, 2-4 3Pt), three rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal in 17 minutes.
Impact Rupert had scored in double digits in four of her previous six appearances, but she didn't have her best performance Tuesday, although it's worth noting she also logged 17 minutes -- her lowest tally of the season in a starting role. She's averaging 8.3 points per game in four September contests ahead of the regular-season finale at Minnesota on Thursday.
SEPTEMBER 10, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Stuffs stat sheet Saturday Rupert delivered 15 points (4-10 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six rebounds, two assists and two steals across 34 minutes in Saturday's 78-72 loss to Minnesota.
Impact Rupert was one of three players who scored at least 15 points for Golden State in this matchup against the team with the best record in the WNBA, but her efforts weren't enough to pull the upset. Despite the negative outcome, Rupert continues to deliver solid outings for fantasy managers who routinely trust her. Rupert has scored in double digits in four of her previous six outings while also delivering decent numbers in secondary categories.

That tied her season high, recently set Aug. 22, as she continues a breakout year from beyond the arc. After never shooting better than 36.8 percent from three in a WNBA season (2022) prior to 2025, Rupert carried a remarkable 45.1 percent mark into the contest before burying five more triples to boost her numbers.

Won't play Tuesday Rupert (concussion) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Mercury, Marisa Ingemi of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Impact Rupert sustained the injury in the third quarter of Sunday's loss to Atlanta and did not return.
