Contract converted to standard deal Buhner's developmental contract was converted to a standard deal Thursday, WNBA reporter Kareem Copeland reports.

Impact Buhner was with the Fire on a developmental contract to begin the season, meaning that she would have only been eligible to appear in 12 regular-season games under that agreement. However, she appeared in three of the Fire's first five matchups of the year, averaging 2.0 points and 1.7 rebounds in 11.7 minutes per game, and she'll now have flexibility to appear in more games as the regular season rolls on.
