Plays better in win Friday Johnson finished with 17 points (7-12 FG, 3-6 3Pt), seven rebounds, five assists and three blocks across 31 minutes in Friday's 77-59 win over Connecticut.
Impact Johnson had only five points when these clubs met Wednesday. However, she turned it around on the scoring end in the rematch to help the Storm snap a three-game skid. The rookie has hit the double-digit scoring mark in four of her six appearances during her inaugural campaign. There should be more of that moving ahead, although Johnson may have some off nights. Ball security has also been somewhat of an issue, with the 22-year-old committing five turnovers Friday night.

Impact Johnson struggled from inside the arc once again but frequently got to the charity stripe and led Seattle's first unit in scoring. The rookie first-rounder also racked up a game-high three steals and made an impact on the glass. She'll look to improve her efficiency, though it's encouraging that Johnson is drawing fouls when her shot isn't falling.

Impact The rookie standout from LSU misfired on all five of her attempts inside the arc, but she did a good job shooting from distance. Johnson also chipped in with a handful of rebounds and assists while adding a steal, showing her ability to help out in multiple areas. Nerves could have been a factor in her WNBA debut, too. She was a starter, and Johnson is in a good spot to succeed in Seattle.
