Doesn't play in season finale Williams didn't take the court during Thursday's 91-86 loss to the Liberty.
Impact Williams was cleared to play in Thursday's regular-season finale after sustaining a calf injury during Tuesday's game against Las Vegas. However, she wasn't listed in the starting five and ultimately didn't enter the game despite the Sky being shorthanded. She had appeared in each of Chicago's first 43 games of the season prior to Thursday's absence, and she drew 15 starts. However, her production in most areas took a step back compared to her first two seasons with the Sky, as she averaged 8.5 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 21.1 minutes per game. She's slated to become an unrestricted free agent during the offseason, and it's possible that she draws interest from other teams this winter.

Will play season finale Williams (calf) has been cleared to play and will come off the bench in Thursday's game against the Liberty, Chicago State of Mind reports.
Impact Williams' calf issue won't keep her off the floor. In 28 games in a reserve role this season, she is averaging 7.1 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game while shooting 48.8 percent from the field heading into the last game of the 2025 campaign for Chicago.
SEPTEMBER 11 • ROTOWIRE
Deemed game-time decision Williams (calf) is considered a game-time decision for Thursday's game against the Liberty, Karli Bell of Marquee Sports Network reports.
Impact Williams is nursing a calf injury, which she suffered during Tuesday's game against Las Vegas, and her status will likely be determined closer to pregame warmups. With Angel Reese (back) sitting out Chicago's regular-season finale, names like Maddy Westbeld, Rebecca Allen and Michaela Onyenwere may all be needed to soak up additional minutes in the frontcourt.
SEPTEMBER 11 • ROTOWIRE
Iffy for regular-season finale Williams (calf) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Liberty, Christian Conway of Winsidr reports.
Impact Williams suffered a calf injury in Tuesday's game against Las Vegas, so it's possible the Sky will take a cautious approach and hold her out for their regular-season finale. In that case, the likes of Maddy Westbeld, Rebecca Allen and Michaela Onyenwere could be called upon for a rise in playing time in the Chicago frontcourt.

Won't return Tuesday Williams sustained a calf injury in Tuesday's game against the Aces and will not return, Karli Bell of Marquee Sports Network reports.
Impact Williams checked out of the game with 3:54 remaining in the second quarter, and she'll finish with four points (2-4 FG), four rebounds and one assist across 11 minutes. Maddy Westbeld and Rebecca Allen are candidates to see an uptick in playing time the rest of the way.

Notches 10 points as starter Williams racked up 10 points (5-11 FG), seven rebounds, three assists, two blocks and two steals across 24 minutes during Sunday's 80-66 loss to Las Vegas.
Impact Williams drew the start at center with Maddy Westbeld retreating to the bench. Meanwhile, Angel Reese was expected to suit up in the second half after being sidelined for the first half due to statements detrimental to the team, but she never saw the floor. With two games remaining and nothing left to play for, it will be interesting to see how the Sky handle Reese's minutes to close the season.

Enters starting lineup Williams is starting Sunday's game against the Aces.
Impact Although Maddy Westbeld took on a starting role in place of the suspended Angel Reese during Friday's game against the Fever, Williams will enter the starting lineup Sunday since Reese will be held out in the first half due to statements detrimental to the team, while Westbeld will retreat to the bench. Williams has averaged 10.7 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 22.0 minutes per game over her last three appearances.

Impact Williams basically played starter minutes off the bench Friday, as Kamilla Cardoso (33) was the only player on her squad who logged more time on the floor. Williams has now recorded four double-doubles on the season.

Efficient off bench in win Williams contributed 10 points (5-7 FG), one rebound, two assists, one block and one steal in 18 minutes during Wednesday's 88-64 victory over Connecticut.
Impact Williams was very efficient from the field, and she did well at the defensive end in her limited time on the floor. She could be in line for more playing time, and perhaps even a start, as Angel Reese committed her eighth personal foul of the season. As such, she might have to serve a one-game suspension from the league.

Over her last three appearances off the bench, the veteran center has averaged 7.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.0 blocks across 19.7 minutes per game.

Full stat line in loss Williams finished with 10 points (4-11 FG, 2-3 FT), nine rebounds, four assists, two steals and two blocks across 28 minutes in Tuesday's 94-88 loss to Seattle.
Impact The veteran center shifted to the second unit with Angel Reese (back) returning from a seven-game absence. Still, Williams stuffed the stat sheet off the bench, finishing as one of five Sky players to score in double figures. She also grabbed a game-best nine boards, marking the third time in her last four appearances. Additionally, Williams recorded multiple blocks for the third consecutive game.

Dominates glass in loss Williams generated 12 points (5-12 FG, 2-3 FT), 15 rebounds, three assists and two blocks across 29 minutes of Wednesday's 71-62 loss to the Sun.
Impact Williams didn't record double-digit rebounds in her first 27 games of the season. She's now hit that mark three times in her last five games, hitting 15 rebounds twice during that stretch. The veteran center's uptick in playing time and rebounding is likely due to the prolonged absence of Angel Reese (back), who's averaging 12.6 rebounds herself. In six games since the start of August, Williams is averaging 12.7 points, 10.2 rebounds and 1.3 blocks across 29 minutes.

Struggles with shot in loss Williams posted eight points (4-12 FG), nine rebounds, two assists, a steal and a block across 31 minutes in Saturday's 92-70 loss to the Fever.
Impact Williams had a rough shooting performance, but she still finished as one of the team's top scoring weapons. That doesn't say much, though, as the Sky scored 70 total points while shooting just 38.4 percent from the floor. Fantasy managers might not be happy with Williams' scoring line, but she salvaged her fantasy line by contributing in each of the five major categories.
AUGUST 10 • ROTOWIRE
Limited impact in defeat Williams provided eight points (3-11 FG, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal over 27 minutes during Thursday's 86-65 loss to Atlanta.
Impact The Sky looked overmatched throughout this entire game, and Williams was unable to maintain the numbers she had posted in recent games, as she was coming off back-to-back double-doubles. She remains a player worth targeting in a struggling Sky team, though, especially with Angel Reese (back) sidelined and on a day-to-day status. Williams is averaging 10.3 points, 6.9 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.3 blocks per game since the All-Star break.
