Catches fire off bench Bonner generated 25 points (7-11 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 9-13 FT), 10 rebounds and one block over 31 minutes of Wednesday's 90-88 loss to Las Vegas in Game 3 of the WNBA Finals. Impact Bonner led Phoenix in scoring and played the fourth most minutes despite coming off the bench. The veteran forward served as a de facto starter, as Natasha Mack played just seven minutes as part of the first unit. According to Khristina Williams of MSG Network, Bonner was battling an illness, but the ailment clearly didn't have an impact on her workload. Bonner had scored in double figures in just two of her last seven games. Satou Sabally (head) departed the contest in the closing minutes due to injury, and Bonner could see an expanded role in Friday's Game 4 if Sabally can't go.
