Impact Carter spent time with several WNBA teams over the past few seasons, most recently playing for the Sky in 2024. She averaged 17.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.1 steals in 26.0 minutes per game over 33 regular-season appearances (20 starts) with Chicago last year, but the team didn't extend her a restricted qualifying offer during the offseason. The 26-year-old didn't land a contract with another WNBA team ahead of the 2025 campaign, and she's now slated to play in Mexico this year. If a WNBA team deals with injuries at some point in 2025, it's unclear whether Carter will be in the mix to return to the league.
