GAME LOG

Out again Wednesday Stevens (knee) will remain on the inactive list for Wednesday's game against the Valkyries.
Impact Stevens is still working her way back from a knee injury, but it's not encouraging that she continues to get ruled out 24 hours in advance of tipoff. For now, she should be considered highly questionable for Friday's game in Phoenix.

To miss Opening Night Stevens (knee) will miss Saturday's season opener against the Fire, according to WNBA reporter Stephen PridGeon-Garner.
Impact General manager Jeff Pagliocca said on April 30 that Stevens (knee) has resumed full basketball activities, but that she was still weeks away. With that in mind, she's questionable at best for Wednesday's game against Golden State.

Resumes basketball activities General manager Jeff Pagliocca said Thursday that Stevens (knee) has resumed full basketball activities and is "hopefully a few weeks away" from returning to game action, Jack Malo...
Impact Stevens has missed the start of training camp due to her knee injury, and she was unavailable for both of the Sky's preseason matchups. Although she seems to be trending in the right direction, Pagliocca's comments suggest that Stevens' status for the team's Opening Night matchup in Portland on May 9 is in question. Even if Stevens is unavailable against the Fire, it wouldn't be surprising to see her return early in the regular season, though Chicago could elect to ease her into action once she's deemed available.
APRIL 30 • ROTOWIRE
Won't play Wednesday Stevens (knee) is out for Wednesday's preseason game against the Dream, per WNBA reporter Kareem Copeland.
Impact Stevens also missed Saturday's preseason opener with a knee injury, and the severity of the issue remains unclear. She'll have about a week and a half to recover ahead of the May 9 regular-season opener in Portland.
APRIL 28 • ROTOWIRE
Won't suit up Saturday Stevens (knee) has been ruled out for Saturday's preseason game against the Mercury, according to WNBA reporter Kareem Copeland.
Impact The severity of the knee issue is unclear, though it'll keep Stevens from suiting up in Saturday's preseason opener. Her next chance to play in the preseason will come Wednesday against the Dream.
APRIL 24 • ROTOWIRE
Managing lower-body injury Stevens didn't participate in Sunday's practice session due to a lower-body injury, Chicago State of Mind Sports reports.
Impact Stevens agreed to a three-year contract with the Sky last weekend, but she was unavailable for the first day of training camp due to her injury. The 30-year-old is coming off a career-best season with the Sparks in 2025, as she averaged 12.8 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.1 blocks in 28.4 minutes per game while starting every regular-season matchup. The severity of Stevens' injury isn't yet clear, and her status for Saturday's preseason opener against Phoenix remains to be seen.

Reuniting with Chicago Stevens and the Sky agreed to terms on a three-year contract Saturday, Alexa Philippou of ESPN.com reports.
Impact Stevens spent three seasons with the Sky from 2020 to 2022 before playing with the Sparks for the following three years. She started in all of Los Angeles' 44 regular-season games in 2025 and averaged career highs in points (12.8), rebounds (8.0), assists (2.1) and three-pointers (1.7) while connecting on 47.8 percent of her field-goal attempts, which was enough for her to finish second in the WNBA's Most Improved Player award behind Veronica Burton. Stevens figures to serve in a prominent role in her second stint with the Sky.
APRIL 11 • ROTOWIRE
Won't re-sign with Los Angeles Stevens doesn't intend to re-sign with the Sparks, Khristina Williams of MSG Network reports Friday.
Impact Stevens has averaged double-digit points in four of the past six seasons. During the 2025 campaign -- her third season with the Sparks -- she had a career-best year with averages of 12.8 points, 8.0 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 28.4 minutes per game while serving exclusively as a starter across 44 regular-season appearances, all of which were the best marks of her eight-year tenure in the WNBA. Stevens will seek out other opportunities as an unrestricted free agent, and she'll presumably be able to land another prominent role wherever she signs.

Impact Stevens pulled down a team-high 12 rebounds but was otherwise quiet in a blowout loss. She struggled to maintain a scoring presence down the stretch of the regular season, as she was held to single digits in six of seven matchups after averaging 13.9 points through her first 37 games of the 2025 campaign.

Impact Stevens tied the team-high mark in rebounding, grabbing at least eight boards for the fourth time in her last five outings. However, she struggled mightily from three-point range and has now shot just 21.7 percent from downtown over her last five games. During that span, she has scored in double figures just once.

Impact Stevens led the Sparks in rebounds Sunday, and it was her first time scoring in double digits since Aug. 29 against Indiana. She's managed to maintain modest production despite cooling down significantly after a hot start to the season, as Stevens has averaged 7.3 points, 7.2 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.0 steals and 0.7 blocks in 27.1 minutes per game while shooting a paltry 37.3 percent from the field over her last nine outings.

Poor offensive showing Stevens supplied three points (1-8 FG, 1-4 3Pt), eight rebounds and one assist across 24 minutes during Friday's 104-85 loss to the Dream.
Impact Stevens stood out due to her energy on the glass after grabbing eight rebounds, but she was a non-factor on offense in a game the Sparks lost by 19 points. The lack of production on offense has been noticeable of late, as Stevens has scored in single digits in seven of her previous eight outings, averaging 6.6 points per game and shooting 35.7 percent from the floor. Despite the scoring woes, Stevens has found a way to produce in other areas with averages of 6.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists and a combined 1.7 steals-plus-blocks per game over that same stretch.

Impact Stevens didn't have her best shooting performance, but she still posted a decent stat line and finished just one point away from recording a double-double. Her offensive numbers are trending in the wrong direction and has scored in double digits just once in her last five games.

Impact Stevens had a strong all-around performance, getting the job done on both ends of the floor. She finished with team-high numbers in points, assists, rebounds and blocks (tied with Cameron Brink). However, it wasn't enough to overcome some late-game heroics by Odyssey Sims, who propelled her team to victory with two clutch baskets late in the fourth quarter.
