Impact Sheppard will have an opportunity to compete for a roster spot with the Mercury. The 27-year-old was the No. 23 overall pick in the 2022 WNBA Draft. She appeared in 23 regular-season games as a rookie, averaging 1.5 points, 0.6 rebounds, 0.3 assists and 0.2 steals across 7.6 minutes before being waived ahead of the 2023 campaign.
