Impact The UFC gave Dyer another cakewalk matchup in her second fight with the promotion and she responded with another dominant effort. Entering as a -900 favorite, the Brit obliterated Reed on the feet for the duration of the bout, closing with a ridiculous 136-49 edge in significant strikes landed. Dyer's stand-up gave is very advanced. She has plenty of power and plenty of speed. Every opponent Dyer faces moving forward will likely attempt to get their wrestling game going. Neither Reed nor Ravena Oliveira -- Dyer's opponent in her company debut -- were able to do so successfully.

Summer showdown on tap Dyer will fight fellow strawweight Elise Reed at UFC Sacramento on Aug. 22, according to Nolan King of MMA Junkie.

Impact It was around the same time last year when Dyer won a UFC contract via Dana White's Contender Series. Upon signing, the strawweight subsequently defeated Ravena Olivera, and UFC Sacramento will mark the former's second fight for the promotion.

Knockout win in UFC debut Dyer defeated Ravena Oliveira via TKO (strikes) at 1:17 of Round 2 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in London.

Impact Dyer earned a UFC contract despite dropping a unanimous decision on Dana White's Contender Series in September. She made her official company debut here against Oliveira and did so as nearly a -500 favorite. The Vegas lined proved to be a wise one as Dyer easily dominated the striking exchanges between the two in addition to landing her only takedown attempt. It will be interesting to see how she performs her next time out against what will certainly be a better opponent.

UFC debut scheduled Dyer is scheduled to compete against Ravena Oliveira in a strawweight fight at UFC London on March 21, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.

Impact Dyer, 6-1 all-time in MMA, came through from Dana White's Contender Series, and despite a loss in the event, the strawweight received a UFC contract. Dyer's first opponent is coming off a loss after a long layoff.

Impact Dyer was dropped twice in the opening round and was compromised to the point of the fight nearly getting stopped, but she pushed through to the finish, getting stronger as the fight went on. Her takedowns were not working -- she was 0-for-11 on the night -- so Dyer was forced to bite down on the mouthpiece and press forward. She racked up 35 or more significant strikes in all three rounds, narrowly losing the overall battle 117-to-115 when it was all said and done. It's rare to see a loser get a contract, but the resilience showed here, as well as the willingness to step into the pocket despite a clear power disadvantage, proved to be enough to get the attention of UFC President Dana White.
