Impact Vieira was part of a group of roster cuts to be reported Thursday, but her presence is a bit of a head-scratcher. The 34-year-old bantamweight had won two of her last three fights, most recently taking a unanimous decision from Jacqueline Cavalcanti just this past weekend. She had risen to the No. 5 spot in the UFC's female bantamweight rankings, and remains listed on their site at the time of reporting. Perhaps the contract has simply expired and the two will agree to terms at a later date, or it may be that Vieira wants to continue her career with another promotion.
