Impact It wasn't that Silva fought poorly in this fight, but it didn't feel as if she accomplished a whole heck of a lot. She was credited with 21 significant strikes landed. She did connect on two successful takedowns, but Barber was typically able to overwhelm her at the point of attack. In addition, Silva should have been docked a point by referee Mark Smith for kicking her downed opponent in the fact on two different occasions. Ultimately, it didn't matter. Silva turned 32 years of age last week and has alternated wins and losses in her past four fights after a hot start to her UFC run. There isn't much here in regards to long-term ceiling.

Silva will aim to start a new winning run against an opponent who hasn't fought since the first half of 2024. She owns a 19-5-0 record as a pro.

Impact Silva was originally set to compete against JJ Aldrich but has since been ruled out for the fight bringing on Dione Barbosa to the spotlight. Killer is looking to bounce back after a rough performance in which she lost against Viviane Araujo. Barbosa is coming off a victory and aiming to extend her streak.
