Facing Bolanos in March Yoo will face Gaston Bolanos at UFC 326 on Mar. 7, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.

Impact Yoo will look to get back into the win column after losing his first UFC match versus Daniel Santos via TKO (punches) back in October. The South Korean featherweight will now face off against Bolanos, who also lost his most recent UFC match back in May of last year. Both fighters will be looking to get their first victories of the new year.

Suffers first UFC defeat Yoo lost to Daniel Santos via TKO (punches) at 0:21 of Round 2 at UFC 320 on Saturday in Las Vegas.

Impact Predictably, Yoo found life much more difficult against Santos than in his UFC debut against Jeka Saragih in June in which he scored a 28-second knockout. To be fair, Yoo won an action-packed Round 1 on all three scorecards. Then he got clipped with a left hand from the Brazilian early in Round 2 which was the beginning of the end. It's early, and the results have been inconsistent, but the 31-year-old Yoo looks like reasonable roster depth for a company which holds an event most every Saturday.

New fight scheduled Yoo is scheduled to compete against Daniel Santos in a featherweight fight at UFC Perth on Sept. 27, according to Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.

Impact Just under two months after knocking out Jeka Saragih, Yoo will replace fellow countryman Doo Ho Choi to take on Santos at UFC Perth. Most recently, Santos defeated Jeong Yeong Lee.

Statement win in UFC debut Yoo defeated Jeka Saragih via KO (punch) at 0:28 of Round 1 at UFC 316 on Saturday in Newark, New Jersey.

Impact It's literally impossible to have a more impressive UFC debut than this. Entering as upwards of a -600 favorite, Yoo simply avoided a looping punch attempt from Saragih and responded with a short left hook which knocked the latter out cold before he hit the mat. It's a result that is going to earn Yoo a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus and one that will be in the discussion for Knockout of the Year when 2025 finally comes to a close. Yoo's next challenge will be replicating this success next time out against what will undoubtedly be a better opponent.
