Impact Neimeier was unable to get past the No. 5 seed as she was defeated in straight sets after one hour and 26 minutes on court. The No. 121-ranked German's win in the first round was her first victory at tour level since the Australian Open. Niemeier has two wins at tour level so far in 2025.
