WWE's Enzo Amore released from hospital after suffering concussion
Enzo and Cass entered WWE Payback as one of the hottest acts in pro wrestling with the chance to become the No. 1 contender for the tag team titles, but a freak accident at the beginning of their match with the Vaudevillains forced referees to rule it a no contest. Enzo Amore was briefly knocked out when Simon Gotch tried to throw him outside the ring.
As Amore tried to slide, he collided with the bottom two ropes at high speed and was motionless outside the ring for a few moments. Amore was taken out of the arena on a stretcher and transported to a local medical facility in Chicago, and announcer Michael Cole soon gave an update that Amore was talking and could move his extremities.
Amore was diagnosed with a concussion according to WWE, and was released from the hospital Sunday night. Kevin Owens paid Amore a visit in the hospital after beating Sami Zayn.
