WWE Rumors: Chris Jericho and Sin Cara Had Backstage Fight
Chris Jericho and Sin Cara have been in fights in recent months, but instead decided to brawl with each other.
Chris Jericho and Sin Cara were both involved in backstage fights earlier this year. Jericho got upset with the finish to Brock Lesnar’s match with Randy Orton at SummerSlam, and went after The Beast Incarnate backstage. It led to an argument and nearly a brawl, but nothing much materialized from it. Cara had a fight with Simon Gotch earlier this year and gave the former NXT Tag Team Champion a nasty shiner.
Well, when these two aren’t fighting others, why not go after each other?
WrestleZone’s Justin Labar reported that a backstage fight took place at one of the overseas WWE live events. He then confirmed it was Jericho and Cara who got into the altercation.
Hearing backstage #WWE fight took place overseas involving repeat offender. Have doubts on if he has leverage to work in his favor.

MLW Radio later indicated that Cara may have knocked out Jericho. However, this didn’t get confirmed yet.

Jericho did post an Instagram video on the same night, but didn’t show any noticeable marks to indicate he had been in a fight.
If Cara actually knocked out Y2J, then this would make it his second one of the year with the previously noted Gotch incident. Given his place on the roster, it may be fair to consider if WWE would release him for getting into multiple altercations and injuring Superstars in short time. Especially if it’s someone like Jericho, a long-time employee of the company. However, he shouldn’t be out of the clear here either until details are released.
This is just the latest fight for Chris Jericho and Sin Cara, one that we may hopefully find out more about soon.
