WWE releases Adam Rose from the promotion
Adam Rose has been released from the WWE roster after being suspended earlier this year and following an arrest in Florida just a few weeks ago.
WWE officials made the announcement on Monday.
"WWE has granted Adam Rose's request to be released, as of today, May 23, 2016. WWE wishes Rose the best in all his future endeavors," WWE officials said on Monday.
Rose has suffered through a tumultuous few weeks after first debuting with the WWE as part of the NXT roster in 2012.
In April, Rose -- real name Raymond Leppan -- was suspended for 60 days after a second violation of the WWE's wellness policy.
Rose maintained his innocence throughout the process, but then on May 11 he was arrested in Hillsborough County, Florida and charged with tampering with a witness and battery domestic violence.
Following that arrest, Rose apparently asked to be released from the WWE per the statement from the company and his four year run with the company comes to an end.
