WWE No Mercy 2016 Results: Baron Corbin vs. Jack Swagger Video Highlights

Can Baron Corbin right the wrong from last Tuesday’s Smackdown by defeating Jack Swagger at No Mercy?

This is a match that was moved to the main card after Becky Lynch’s injury.  Jack Swagger came to Smackdown Live after his contract expired with Raw.  It was probably for the best considering that he was barely wrestling on Raw.  With Smackdown being the fresh brand of the split, Swagger has to be excited to be on the second Smackdown exclusive pay-per-view, No Mercy.

Jack Swagger came to Smackdown Live to make an impact and went right after the Andre Memorial Battle Royal winner.  He had a match with Corbin last Tuesday on Smackdown Live but it ended in controversial fashion after Baron Corbin was reaching for the ropes.  Who will come out on top tonight?

Corbin takes the fight to the outside early and focuses on Swagger’s hand.  He smashes it between the steel steps and the ring post.  This was in Corbin’s best interest to avoid the ankle lock that gained Swagger a controversial victory on Smackdown Live.

Corbin continues to work the hand of Swagger which could pay dividends later in the match.  Swagger starts to fight back as Baron Corbin starts to become overly aggressive.  He tries to put the match away with the Swagger Bomb followed by the Patriot Lock but Swagger’s hand is still in pain.

Further in the match, Swagger goes back to the Patriot lock and Corbin is back to the prone position from Tuesday.  Corbin makes his way under the rope and grabs the apron forcing Swagger to break the hold.  As the ref is fixing the apron, Corbin pokes Swagger in the eye.

Baron Corbin gains retribution with the End of Days for the victory.
