WWE Hell in a Cell is upon us, so follow along as we predict the results on the night.
Live Sunday night, WWE will present Hell in a Cell 2016. Coming to us from the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts, we will see some of the best wrestlers on the WWE roster in action.
In total, we will see seven matches on the card, with every one of the Raw brand titles on the line. It will be a tough night for three of the champions, with their belts up for grabs in the fabled Hell in a Cell.
WWE are presenting the show as a triple main event. What may be the actual main event on the night, will see Kevin Owens defend his WWE Universal Championship against Seth Rollins.
Roman Reigns will give Rusev a rematch for the United States Championship, whilst Charlotte Flair will try and dethrone WWE Women’s Champion Sasha Banks. This is the first time we’ll see two women go at it inside the Cell, with many people thinking it should be the final match of the night. These two women may very well upstage the other two Cell matches on the night, you certainly wouldn’t put it past them.
This could be a make or break night for many of the men and women on the card, with the following months Survivor Series set to be shaped from the outcome of the Hell in a Cell event.
Follow along with us as we try and make sense of the card, and try to predict what will happen in each match.

Bayley vs Dana Brooke
A match that may very well be the contest that decides the next challenger to the WWE Women’s Championship, this could be a hot match to start the show off.
Bayley has been reasonably quiet since her move up from NXT, aside from a short stint as a challenger for the Women’s title. Since then she has been entangled somewhat with Dana Brooke, a woman who looks like she could be a mainstay of the Raw Women’s Division for a good while.
If WWE is looking for the next No. 1 contender then they could do a lot worse than having Bayley in that spot. Bayley will tear it up with either Sasha or Charlotte, and her push for a big main roster run starts tonight.
Dana isn’t hurt by losses, as we saw when she was basically the lackey to Charlotte during her Women’s title run. She can still be a big asset as a heel in the Women’s Division, and can perhaps she can battle her former mentor Charlotte going forward.
Prediction: Bayley defeats Dana Brooke.

Enzo Amore and Big Cass vs Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson
Enzo and Cass have been in limbo for the last few months, the same could be said for Gallows and Anderon. This has to be the start of something for both of them.
Despite their booking struggles, Enzo and Cass are still one of the most over teams in the entire company, and should be higher up the card than they currently are. Again you could say that Gallows and Anderson are one of the best tag teams in the company, and should have had more of a shot at the Raw Tag Team Titles than they got against The New Day.
With a big tag title match later on the card, this is the perfect shot to build Gallows and Anderson up again as legitimate challengers for the gold. This feud was kind of thrown together, but this match should be a decent contest.
Prediction: Gallows and Anderson defeat Enzo and Cass.

Raw Tag Team Championship Match The New Day (c) vs Sheamus and Cesaro
This is an intriguing match, but one that should be a good contest between two of the top teams on Raw. The New Day are rapidly approaching legendary status with the length of their Tag Team title reign, second only in WWE/WWF history to Demolition and their 478-day reign back in the late 1980’s.
Sheamus and Cesaro were put together as an odd couple tag team, following their Best of Seven Series ended in a 3-3 draw. Raw GM Mick Foley decided to make them become a team, with both men seemingly not happy to tag with the other. It has lead to some fantastic entertainment, but will probably lead to them losing out on the night for the gold.
In the modern WWE, it seems like records mean a lot to Vince McMahon, so I can’t see past The New Day retaining here. It will more than likely come after Sheamus decides he will walk out on Cesaro instead of helping him win the match, eventually leading to a big grudge match between them both.
Prediction: New Day defeats Sheamus and Cesaro.

WWE Cruiserweight Championship MatchTJ Perkins (c) vs Brian Kendrick
TJ Perkins was the inaugural winner of the newly made WWE Cruiserweight Championship, having beaten the rest of the field to win the first ever Cruiserweight Classic.
Since winning the tournament and title, Perkins has been entangled with his former mentor Kendrick, with the elder statesman of the Cruiserweight Division being the dastardly veteran in his attempts to take the title away from the younger man.
After being beaten by Perkins at Clash of Champions, Kendrick attacked the champion. They had another match on Raw, with Kendrick winning via submission. Kendrick got the win, but not the title he so desperately craves.
Since then Kendrick seems to be in the last chance saloon, if he can’t win the match at Hell in a Cell, this could be his final real shot in WWE. That’s why I think he will get the win, followed by his every match looking like he’s on his last legs in the division. Perkins is over with the fans, he doesn’t necessarily need the title to be a big star in WWE going forward.
Prediction: Brian Kendrick defeats TJ Perkins to win the Cruiserweight Championship.

Hell in a Cell Match for the WWE United States ChampionshipRoman Reigns (c) vs Rusev
This is a feud that seems to have been going on forever and a day, but it may come to it’s most brutal inside Hell in a Cell. Reigns may only be in this title picture as he is serving his penance for his Wellness Policy failure earlier in the year, but he has made this pretty personal with Rusev, it has the potential to upstage the other Hell in a Cell matches on the night.
Reigns is, without doubt, the next franchise in WWE, and WWE wants him to be the big baby face, whilst Rusev is probably the best pure heel that the company has. This match will see both men stretched to breaking point, and out of the three Hell in a Cell matches I expect this to be the one where we are most likely to see blood. Not that that is something we ever hope for.
Expect to see both men driven into the steel on numerous occasions, a spear that pales in comparison to Goldberg’s and Reigns with a crimson mask as he’s locked in the Accolade. Before Reigns is victorious as Lana throws in the towel to save Rusev.
Prediction: Roman Reigns defeats Rusev.

Hell in a Cell Match for the Raw Women’s ChampionshipSasha Banks (c) vs Charlotte Flair
The match that was originally announced as the main event for the night by Mick Foley, before he changed his wording to make it seem like it wouldn’t finish the night. To be fair to both women, they could definitely main event a WWE pay-per-view, but that should be saved for a one on one match where it’s a straight wrestling match. That said this will be the match that everyone is talking about at the end of the night.
This should also be the perfect way to end the Sasha vs Charlotte feud and see both women move on to other things. Neither of them has anything to prove, but this will be an amazing match.
It was rumored that Charlotte had requested to be allowed to perform the moonsault off the top of the Cell, but that request was knocked back by Vince McMahon. She doesn’t need to do such a dangerous move, but that doesn’t mean won’t do something spectacular.
Seeing Sahsa and Charlotte in the ring with Raw GM Mick Foley, on this past week’s Raw, with him talking about all he has sacrificed by being part of that legendary Hell in Cell match with Undertaker back in 1998. The passion he showed, along with the two women in this match, tells you that something big is going to happen, just to show how much they are willing to do to keep this Women’s Division on top of the game.
Prediction: Sasha Banks defeats Charlotte Flair.

Hell in a Cell Match for the WWE Universal ChampionshipKevin Owens (c) vs Seth Rollins
This is the top feud on Raw right now, with the brand’s most important title on the line. It just feels like the whole thing is stuck in limbo until something epic happens in the future.
The feud may very well be Owens vs Rollins, but it should really be Owens/Jericho/Triple H vs Rollins, seen as how both men have helped Owens in his previous matches with Rollins. Triple H helped him win the belt, then Jericho helped him hold on to it.
We are without doubt headed for a Owens vs Jericho feud in the coming months, and potentially Rollins vs Triple H at some point, so don’t expect to see Owens get too much help inside that Cell. The Cell itself should stop any shenanigans, with Owens needing a win in the match more than Rollins needs the belt right now.
Owens is one of the best things on the entirety of WWE television, and has been for the past couple of years. It’s time for him to go it alone and go head to head with Jericho after this match. Rollins may very well battle Triple H, or he may become embroiled with Roman Reigns again, either way, he doesn’t need a belt to be a massive star.
Prediction: Kevin Owens defeats Seth Rollins
