The Shield Reunites on WWE Tribute to the Troops (Video)
The Shield, New Day, and the Club decided to have a meeting backstage on which team is the best in WWE and it was great.
At WWE Survivor Series, we briefly saw Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, and Seth Rollins, formerly known as the Shield, reunite for a few minutes. They would team up to triple powerbomb AJ Styles and get a raucous reaction from the Air Canada Centre.
Well, seemingly out of nowhere, these three would reunite once again. This took place in a backstage segment on Wednesday night’s WWE Tribute to the Troops special.
New Day, who recently broke Demolition’s record for the longest reigning WWE tag team champions ever, talked about how they may be the greatest team in the company’s history. This led to AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, and Karl Anderson interrupting to say that they’re the best (they teamed in NJPW and briefly in WWE for May to July).
However, what would make this segment is Ambrose, Reigns, and Rollins subtly approaching everyone. The three stared the others down and laughed about the debate.

Awesome. Just awesome. It’s random timing, especially on a Tribute to the Troops show, but hey, when you can get all these guys in the same building for one night, things like this can happen.
The Shield had once dominated WWE from the fall of 2012 to June 2014. This included a WWE Tag Team Championship reign from Reigns and Rollins, and a United States Title run from Ambrose. They would eventually be broken up by the Architect, who aligned with Triple H and Randy Orton. Over two years later, Rollins and the Game are set to feud in a match that could take place in early 2017.
So, for one night, we got the Shield back. When could they appear together next?
