Twenty years ago on Nov. 17, 1996, a young Rocky Maivia made his debut at Survivor Series at Madison Square Garden.
Here's a look at that event:
Maivia was on a team with Marc Mero, Jake "The Snake" Roberts and the Stalker. They defeated Crush, Goldust, Hunter Hearst Helmsley, and Jerry "The King" Lawler.
Dwayne Johnson fondly recalled that debut recently.
Historic night in NYC's Garden for my first ever @WWE match. THANK YOU NY fans for embracing me, despite my WTF pineapple haircut.????? https://t.co/i1JufyX7Iz
