Teddy Long makes a shocking return to WWE

It was a good night for awkward dancing on Monday night's episode of Raw, as former SmackDown general manager Teddy Long returned to the WWE for the first time since 2014.

Long, who succeeded Kurt Angle as the general manager of SmackDown in 2004 (seriously), spent years as a referee and manager before moving to a managerial role. With SmackDown set to become a live show in July, Long returned to campaign for the general manager job, but was turned down by Stephanie McMahon.
Long returned later in the show, however, and proposed a Fatal Four Way tag match between The New Day, Enzo and Cass, The Vaudevillains and Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson for the tag title at Money In The Bank - an idea McMahon stole and proposed as her own.
